The weekend weather was beautiful! Hope you had a chance to enjoy the outdoors.
Report cards will be issued on Monday.
I am very proud of all of the students’ accomplishments for the first quarter.
Students’ October Book Reports were wonderfully done!
I understand they did a great job at the Election Assembly.
Their contributions were very informative.
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held next Monday and Tuesday. Please return your form regarding scheduled conference times.
My time spent on the island of Jamaica was fantastic. It is truly a tropical paradise.
Our tentative academic agenda will be as follows:
Math- continuing Chapter 5-Divide by One Digit,
Spelling- Lesson 9 test today, 11/12
also -working on Lesson 10, words containing sounds of “s” and “j”
Reading- focused skill-theme, text selection- The Swimming Hole
English- Working on Vocabulary Workshop- Unit 2
Religion- beginning lessons on Diocesan Child Protection Catechisis
Science- continuing Chapter 3- Energy in Ecosystems,
(We will be creating Woodland Habitat Models when all
materials are available.)
Social Studies- continuing Chapter 1 - The American Landscape
